Use of Service

• You are responsible for content you save, copy, or share through PromptAlo.
• You must not use PromptAlo for unlawful, abusive, or harmful activity.
• We may suspend abusive usage to protect service stability and users.
• Community prompts are user-generated content. PromptAlo does not endorse shared prompts and may remove content that violates these terms.

Subscriptions and Access

• Paid access is processed through Stripe.
• Feature limits and pricing are described on the landing and billing pages.
• Your subscription state is determined by backend validation and billing events.
• Billing records: Payment transaction records are retained by Stripe for 7 years to comply with UK/EU tax regulations, even after account deletion.

Disclaimers

PromptAlo is provided on an "as is" basis without guarantees of uninterrupted availability or specific output quality. AI prompt quality checks and safety filters are automated and best-effort; they are not a guarantee that shared content is safe, accurate, or compliant. To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability is limited to fees paid for the service in the previous 30 days.

AI-Generated Output

• PromptAlo may generate titles, descriptions, categories, embeddings, and quality feedback using third-party AI services.
• AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, offensive, or unsuitable for your intended use.
• PromptAlo does not provide legal, financial, medical, compliance, or other regulated professional advice.
• You are responsible for reviewing prompts, metadata, and AI feedback before using, publishing, or relying on them.
• You retain responsibility for user-generated prompts and any consequences of copying, sharing, or publishing them.

Third-Party AI Processing

When you use AI-powered features, your prompt text is processed by third-party AI providers (primarily via OpenRouter, which routes to providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, and others).

• PromptAlo does not control how third-party AI providers retain or use data sent to them.
• By using AI features, you acknowledge that your prompts may be processed outside the UK or EEA.
• You can disable AI features in the extension settings to avoid third-party data sharing.

Content Moderation and Reporting

Prohibited content: Public prompts must not contain:

• Unlawful content or content promoting illegal activity
• Hateful, abusive, or harassing content
• Personal information of others (doxxing)
• Malware, phishing attempts, or security exploits
• Content infringing copyright or other intellectual property rights
• Spam or misleading content

Reporting abuse: To report a public prompt, email [email protected] with:

• The prompt ID or URL
• Category of violation
• Brief explanation

Takedown process:

• Reports reviewed within 2 business days
• Clear violations removed immediately
• Borderline cases may request additional context
• Repeat violators may have accounts suspended

Counter-notices: If your public prompt is removed and you believe it was done in error, contact [email protected] with your prompt ID and explanation.

Data Deletion and Export

PromptAlo provides tools for data export and account deletion in the extension settings. Deletion removes data from active PromptAlo systems, but some billing, tax, fraud-prevention, and compliance records may be retained where required by law.
